Athlete Resources

Roller skating is a high energy sport which, at the elite level, requires the mental and physical training of an Olympic caliber athlete. Many of The Oaks’ top skaters align their lifestyle both on and off the skating floor with that of a serious athlete.  In addition to the physical demands of the sport, roller skating has an exceptionally long competitive season; keeping focused and motivated are essential in skaters reaching their full potential. Oaks skaters are encouraged to utilize correct diet, cross-training, and mental preparation techniques to maximize the success and enjoyment of competitive skating. Use this list of resources to enhance your skating!
